What Is Acai Berries Extract?

The acai extract comes from acai berry. It is a small round grape like fruit that grows on acai plants in the rain forests of Brazilian Amazon, so it is also called Brazilian acai.

Acai berry products are very popular nowadays, but its history traces back to a long time ago. The earliest record showed that people who lived in Amazon area used it to cure their open wounds. They also used it to boost their energy level so as to win their battles.

Although acai berry contains lots of nutrition, it is only used among Amazon riverbank area in the past, because it is very delicate and is spoiled within 24 hours of harvesting. Only after we finally find the way to get acai extract, can this “super food” spread all over the world.

So, what makes people crazy for this wonderful fruit?

Acai berries are packed full of vitamins and minerals essential to optimal health and wellness. Not only does this supplement have rich omega content for your heart, but it also provides better quality sleep, has high protein value and it helps normalize cholesterol levels.  Statistics show that 100 grams of acai extract contain 52.2 grams of carbohydrates, 8.1 grams of protein, 32.5 grams of fat, and 44.2 grams of fiber. And it is believed that acai berry has 10 times the antioxidant power of red grapes, 30 times the anthocyanins of red wine, and double the antioxidant power of blueberries. Now it is widely used for anti-aging, weight loss, and colon cleanse.

There are many people that like to drink a glass of wine a day to help their heart.  While it is proven that a glass a day can strengthen your heart, pure acai berries actually have 33 times more antioxidant power than both red grapes and red wine. This provides you with better energy and stamina, essential amino acid complex, and improved digestion as well!

Pure acai delivers a massive attack on vitality-robbing and cancer-causing free radicals.  The antioxidant strength of acai is equal to about "7" servings of fruit! Most berries are a healthy source of natural fiber to cleanse your system and get rid of waste and impurities in your system that can lead to sickness and disease.  Acai is great for your digestive system!  There is no single food or pill in the market today that can be considered “magic”, but acai is ranked high among the most powerful and beneficial natural sources that support a healthy body and lifestyle.

Although acai berry has so many benefits to us, pure acai extract (also known as acai berry powder) has different nutritional value base on processing method. The best method to get acai berry extract will be freeze dried acai, that which is used in “D'Mirakel”.

What Is Korean Bamboo Salt?

Korean's has long history of oriental medical science and developed many kinds of excellent traditional medical treatments.

Traditionally in Korea, bamboo was used as an important medicine material. It has many different medical efficacy varies from its stub, roots, and leaves.

About 1000 years ago, some Korean medicine doctors and monks started to make medical salts by inserting salt in a thick bamboo stub and baking them together with pine tree firewood. The ancient bamboo salt was baked only twice or trice. They used the salt as special medicine treatments. Korean doctors and monks used bamboo salt to treat internal maladies ranging from fevers to diarrhea.

The modern manufacturing of bamboo salt has been refined to enhance the healing properties of bamboo salt.  Using bamboo trees of at least 3 years old, the salt is sealed within the bamboo using unpolluted yellow clay and then baked 8 times in a specially designed furnace.  Baking the bamboo salt in such high temperatures allows for the salt to absorb highly therapeutic trace elements including copper, zinc and iron and it also eliminates any impurities and heavy metals from the salt that can cause damage to the body.

Finally they find out that bamboo salt could have its complete medical efficacy if it is baked over 9 times repeatedly. And they also noticed that if bamboo salt is completely melted, the toxic characteristic disappears.

Now bamboo salt is well known as one of the most famous traditional medical treatments. Also many pharmaceutical scientists all around the world are researching bamboo salt's special therapeutics like anti-cancer effect and anti-virus effect.

Korean bamboo salt is made by filling natural sea salt into bamboo trunks.  It is then concealed with yellow earth and burned nine times using pine wood and pine resins to temperatures above 1500ºC

This process removes heavy metals and harmful contents, and absorbs beneficial minerals from the bamboo, pine woods, pine resins and yellow earth.

Bamboo salt is proven to contain various types of minerals and micro elements, which help in the natural healing process.

Sea Salt – Natural sea salt found in rocks on the west coast of the Korean peninsula that are high in mineral
                 contents.

Bamboo – Trunks of over 3 years old bamboo found in the southern mountains in Korea are used to fill the
                 sea salt.

Yellow Earth – Yellow earth found 20 meters deep in the earth is used to cover the bamboo trunks.

Pine Wood – Pine wood is used as fire wood to burn the bamboo salt.

Pine Resins – Pine resins are added during the burning process to increase the temperature up to                                          1500ºC repeatedly nine times.

Benefits :

1. Detoxify and kill bacteria
2. Control pH level of the skin
3. Anti-oxidant and healing properties
4. Provide nutrients to the skin

Bamboo salt has been added as an ingredient to make face cream as it is very good for skin; and also to make toothpaste because it will help to heal certain tooth diseases very quickly. It stops bleeding gums with just a few uses.  You may just directly replace toothpaste with bamboo salt and apply it to toothbrush that can bring better effects.

Putting feet in the bamboo salt dissolved water recovers weariness.

Bamboo salt has mysterious beauty-skin effect, taking a bath or washing up with bamboo salt dissolved water; you will be surprised by the skin-softening effect of bamboo salt.

You may also wet your skin, and then apply bamboo salt onto your body. Slowly massage or rub the salt on your skin gently, it will give you extra cleaning effect. Applying the salt at your tummy may help you burn extra fat.

Bamboo salt can help to increase your metabolism rate in the process.

Acne is caused by bacteria on your face; using bamboo salt water to wash your face can effectively kill the bacteria.

Research on anti-inflammatory activity of bamboo salt suggests that bamboo salt importantly contributes to the prevention or treatment of inflammatory diseases.

Bamboo salt contains more than 70 essential minerals and micro nutrients, high in calcium, magnesium and zinc. High sulfur from bamboo tree trunk, helps purifying blood thus lowering the risk of blood pressure.

It serves as a natural detoxifying agent.  Because bamboo salt generates large amounts of saliva and gastric juice, it allows for the complete digestion of our food, keeping toxins from building up in the intestine and bloodstream.  Bamboo salt also has a strong penetrative ability so it is able to eliminate toxins from the body quickly and efficiently.

It is a powerful antioxidant which helps cleanse the body and heal damaged cells.  For this quality alone, more and more cancer researchers are starting to look at the role of bamboo salt as it inhibits the growth of cancerous cells.

It provides energy.  When heated, the bamboo salt releases a strong far-infra red light that makes the hydrogen atoms in body fluid to vibrate at a rate of 1 trillion times per second.  This promotes a higher metabolism and regenerates cells at a quicker rate.

It is a strong antibacterial agent.  Because bamboo salt balances the essential ratio of trace elements and pH of body fluid, it eliminates germs from the body (germs cannot survive in human blood with the balanced pH level of 7.35 – 7.45).

It is a treasure trove of minerals and trace elements.  This trait alone has more benefits than can fit on this page.  The balance of copper and zinc ward off anemia by allowing for greater iron absorption.  The presence of magnesium reduces cholesterol in the blood and takes the role of a natural tranquilizer in protecting the nerves.  The natural balance of potassium and sodium ward off chronic diseases and maintain healthy heart function.  And the list goes on and on….

What is ALLANTOIN?

Allantoin (anti-aging cell renewal plant extract) is an extract of the Comfrey plant and is used in many cosmetic products for its soothing, anti-irritation properties and for acne control.

It actively softens the skin (Keratolytic Effect) and increases rapid cell regeneration by precipitating proteins on the skin resulting in anti-aging effects.

Plant origin, Asia and Europe; a perennial growing from a thick, fleshy, brown-skinned root system, that can delve deeply into the sub-soil in search of moisture and minerals. Oblonglanceolate, dark green leaves, 50-120cm long, with long, round-grooved, petiole stems. The whole plant is covered with short hairs that give a rough feel when touched. Flowers form as coiling, terminal racemes in colours of mauve, blue or pink.

The earliest reported topical use of Allantoin was in the 16th century. Roots of comfrey (Symphytum officinale) or black salsify (Scorzonera hispanica), which were later discovered to contain Allantoin, were used to treat wounds and skin ulcers. It wasn’t until 1912, that Macalister chemically identified the substance as Allantoin.

Allantoin is a chemical compound naturally produced by many organisms, including animals, plants, and bacteria. It is a frequent ingredient in lotions and skin creams, as well as in oral hygiene products, cosmetics, and other toiletries. Allantoin is also used in medications for dermatological conditions including acne, impetigo, eczema and psoriasis. It is effective at very low concentrations, usually from 0.1% to 2%.

The allantois, from which allantoin gets its name, is an embryonic excretory organ present in most mammals, expect humans and higher apes, in which the compound accumulates. Animals produce allantois as a byproduct of purine catabolism, in which the waste product uric acid is oxidized and broken down. It is also present in plants including comfrey, sugar beet, tobacco seed, chamomile, and wheat sprouts. Herbal extract of comfrey is a popular source of allantoin. It may also be synthesized from animal urea.

Allantoin is odorless, safe, non-toxic, and non-allergenic in both natural and chemically synthesized form. When sold on its own for use in homemade soaps, lotions, and bath products, allantoin is a white, crystalline powder. Allantoin is moisturizing and keratolytic, meaning that it causes keratin in the skin to soften. This property helps skin to heal more quickly and to bind moisture more effectively, making products containing allantoin useful for dry skin and for healing wounds, burns, and scars. It is also effective against sunburn, chapped lips, cold sores, diaper rash, and similar skin irritations.

How is Lauric Acid Used by our body?

The human body converts lauric acid into monolaurin which is claimed to help in dealing with viruses and bacteria causing diseases such as herpes, influenza, cytomegalovirus, and even HIV. It helps in fighting harmful bacteria such as listeria monocytogenes and heliobacter pylori, and harmful protozoa such as giardia lamblia. As a result of these various health benefits of coconut oil, though its exact mechanism of action was unknown, it has been extensively used in Ayurveda, the traditional Indian medicinal system. The Coconut Research Center has compiled various references on scientific research done on coconut oil.

Skin Care

Coconut oil is excellent massage oil for the skin as well. It acts as an effective moisturizer on all types of skins including dry skin. The benefit of coconut oil on the skin is comparable to that of mineral oil. Further, unlike mineral oil, there is no chance of having any adverse side effects on the skin with the application of coconut oil. Coconut oil therefore is a safe solution for preventing dryness and flaking of skin. It also delays wrinkles, and sagging of skin which normally become prominent with age. Coconut oil also helps in treating various skin problems including psoriasis, dermatitis, eczema and other skin infictions. Therefore coconut oil forms the basic ingredient of various body care products such as soaps, lotions, creams, etc., used for skin care. Coconut oil also helps in preventing premature aging and degenerative diseases due to its antioxidant properties.

Immunity

Coconut oil is also good for the immune system. It strengthens the immune system as it contains antimicrobial lipids, lauric acid, capric acid and caprylic acid which have antifungal, antibacterial and antiviral properties.

Healing and Infections

When applied on infections, it forms a chemical layer which protects the infected body part from external dust, air, fungi, bacteria and virus. Coconut oil is most effective on bruises as it speeds up the healing process by repairing damaged tissues.

Infections: Coconut oil is very effective against a variety of infections due to its antifungal, antiviral, and antibacterial properties. According to the Coconut Research Center, coconut oil kills viruses that cause influenza, measles, hepatitis, herpes, SARS, etc. It also kills bacteria that cause ulcers, throat infections, urinary tract infections, pneumonia, and gonorrhea, etc. Coconut oil is also effective on fungi and yeast that cause candidiasis, ringworm, athlete's foot, thrush, diaper rash etc.

Hair Care

Coconut oil is one of the best natural nutrition for hair. It helps in healthy growth of hair providing them a shiny complexion.
